TOH Online Learning would like to offer Teachers in all areas
40 contact hours   if approved by your school district. Learning OpenOffice Draw is a great additive for teacher for creating posters, cards, newsletters, images, flyers, 3D art, writing lesson plans, etc.   This class introduces basic OpenOffice Draw.  Draw is a great desktop publisher program.  If you are on a tight budget then this course is for you. Draw is a free program that can be used on any computer free of charge or used on all computers in a lab. Think of the money that can be saved by learning this program.  This program is a powerful desktop program with great drawing tool to create drawing and accent pre-made images.

 
Class Overview:

 

  • Installation on OpenOffice Draw
  • Draw Tools and 3D
  • Edit, Copy, Paste, Cut, Etc.
  • Instertion: Pictures, Animated Images, Backgrounds, Boarders, Slides, Objects, Tools, Etc.
  • Page and Printer Setup, Etc.
  • Different ways to save Documents to open in other programs like PowerPoint. Etc.

There will be activities consisting of various projects that can apply to classroom teaching.

Ends:  August 21, 2009
